Aleisha McCormack

Aleisha McCormack is a comedian, writer and television presenter. Currently working as a roving reporter for Network Ten’s The Circle, she regularly appears as a co-host on the couch.

Throughout 2009 and 2010 Aleisha was a regular cast member and writer for the 7PM Project. She has worked as a writer for Glenn Robbins' TV program Out of the Question, Steve Vizard, Jigsaw Entertainment and Rove.

In 2007 Aleisha made it to the national finals of the Stand Up comedy competition, Raw Comedy. She made her Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut in 2009 in ‘Dead to Me.’ Since then she has performed stand up regularly around the country, most recently touring with Daniel Burt in their show ‘He Says/She Says’ to a sell-out crowd in Melbourne, resulting in a second run by request.

'Daniel Burt and Aleisha McCormack might just become the Mike Nichols and Elaine May of Australian Comedy'- The Age.

This year Aleisha will tour the country with her new one woman show ‘How to get Rich,’ directed by Julia Zemiro. Set on a plane, How to get Rich is about a journey, taking a risk for love, bad bikini waxes and how many worst case ‘relationship scenarios’ you can conjure up during a 23-hour flight.

Aleisha is also an outstanding MC, having hosted a variety of corporate events. She also loves skiing and shoes.
