Lawrence Mooney has made many laugh for his accurate impression of Malcolm Turnbull on Budget Day. In a wide-ranging speech at Parliament House, references were made to housing affordability, Gonski 2.0 and Labor’s notorious ’white Australia’ advertisement. At one point the stunt included, ’Mr Trumbull’ holding up his hands to explain his method of gesticulation. “Look at that hand, there’s the hand of a rich guy, beautifully tanned and perfectly manicured. And over in this hand, I hold my glasses quite emphatically as if to say I read, but my eyesight is poor.”
