In 2008, Speakman had 3 lead roles in 3 feature films: Offside as (Katie) that ran for Best Film at the Adelaide Film Festival; Carmilla Hyde as (Britt), which won Best Guerilla Film at MUFF 2009 and Roadman as (Lorraine), currently in post-production.
