Last Thursday Paul went in to renowned Melbourne men’s barber RockIt, which specialises in traditional barber practices, and had his Mo sculpted, groomed and waxed to support the cause.
Paul says his own experience with depression is one of the reasons that he is supporting men’s health.
“Depression is something I suffered from, and awareness is such a colossal part of fixing a problem. And because I appear to have inherited a rather overactive wookie genome, and were I to squander it on old time villainy/cowboy lookalike contests, I’d not be able to live with myself,” he explains.
The growth (who has the character of a country gentleman) even has its own twitter account, #PaulsEpicStache.Last year the campaign raised a total of $AUS 72 million for men’s health globally, with AUS $24.6 million collected in Australia alone.

Darren is set to debut as host on his first UK primetime show The Magicians, which returns to BBC One in 2012 with a show-stopping live new format and an astonishing line up of magicians.
“I can’t wait to host live shows here. The Magicians is a huge entertainment show and talked about around the world so I can’t wait to be at the heart of it. Being a live show, the pressure really will be on the magicians and whether or not they can pull off dangerous stunts in front of a live audience. I’m certainly going to have to have my wits about me!” Darren explains.
Following last year’s ratings success of over 6 million viewers, the 2012 series will be extended to six 75-minute programmes which will transmit live. This will be the first time a magic series has been transmitted live on the BBC in over 20 years.
Each magician will be paired with a different celebrity partner each week. Together they will perform three illusions, both live and pre-recorded, from the classic to the never-attempted before, after which their performances will be put to the viewers’ vote. The magician and celebrity pair with the fewest votes will then have to face a live and dramatic forfeit.
The magicians will need to dazzle, delight and excel beyond their own favoured speciality, be it escapology, illusion or sleight of hand card tricks, to ensure they get the audience’s support for the live vote.

Thousands of men will begin their day with a clean shave tomorrow morning in preparation for a month of dedicated growing and grooming for the annual Movember campaign.
The Wisp, The Connoisseur, and The Undercover Brother are soon to be familiar characters perched on the faces of Aussie men as they band together for the global charity event which sees men growing moustaches during November to raise vital awareness and funding for men’s health issues – specifically prostate cancer and male depression.
Profile’s Ash Williams is loaning his upper lip to the cause as a ‘Mo Bro,’ and Kate Peck has signed on as a ‘Mo Sista’ to encourage guys to grow, and girls to sponsor.
“Pumped to be a mo' bro for Movember and get behind the great work they do for Men's Health," Ash explains, "And for the record my moustache is not ginger, it's 'spray tan'."
As well as being a Mo Bro this month, Ash also models his facial hair in the Movember range for Target. A quarter of all t-shirt sales will go to the Movember charity.
Last year the campaign raised a total of $AUS 72 million for men’s health globally, with AUS $24.6 million collected in Australia alone.Head to to www.movember.com to get involved.

Congratulations to Guy Grossi who was this week recognised by his city with not one, but two, prestigious awards.
Today Grossi Florentino was again named as a two hat restaurant by The Age Good Food Guide Awards 2012. The restaurant was one of only twenty in Victoria to receive the honour of two hats from the respected guide.
“Has it ever been harder for a restaurant to attain a chef's hat in the Good Food Guide? The bar was certainly raised this year,” states Good Food Guide editor Janne Apelgren.
This award comes just days after Guy was announced as the individual winner of the 2011 Melbourne Award for Contribution to Profile from the City of Melbourne.
Only one individual is named annually for the award of Contribution to Profile for Melbourne. The City praised Guy for his tireless work in promoting Melbourne and Victoria.
“He is a true visionary and leader who uses his strong relationships and connections to benefit his home town,” they explained.
The awards cement Guy’s reputation as one of Melbourne’s most valuable assets.
