Scott McGregor is a familiar face on Australian television with his credits including many hosting and acting roles.
Scott’s most recent acting role was as Detective Mark Brennan on the long running TV show ‘Neighbours’. Scott was initially contracted to perform his role in Neighbours for 3 weeks but due to his popularity with the show’s audience this was extended to 12 months.
Scott’s other recent acting roles have included the role of ‘Brett’ in the pilot and first episode of ‘Winners and Losers’ on the Seven Network; and playing a role on the hit Channel 9 series ‘Underbelly’, alongside Madeline West. Scott has also appeared as the featured actor in many television commercials, including those for ‘Hahn Super Dry’, and ‘Michel’s Patisserie’.
Acting is not the only thing Scott does well. Before throwing himself into the acting world Scott was the host of Fox 8’s, Blood Sweat and Gears, was also a regular presenter on the travel series, ‘Holiday’s for Sale’ along with Shelly Craft, Frankie J Holden and Lara Bingle. He has also done some work for ‘Event TV’ alongside Sami Lukis and Darren McMullen as red carpet host doing one on one interviews with some of the biggest international talent visiting Australia.
Successfully hosting the ‘Moonee Valley Spring Racing Carnival Fashions on the Field’ a few years running, events for ‘Vodka Cruiser,’ and numerous other corporate and charity events further proves that Scott is a versatile talent.
Scott is also an ambassador for a number of charities that are close to his heart including The Warwick Foundation, a is a charity that assists young adults living with cancer, and ‘Red Undies Week,’ alongside Tyler Atkins, a charity associated with ‘Kidney Health Australia’ which is making kidney health a little bit cheeky and a lot more fun here in Australia. Scott regularly makes himself available to other charities and lends his support where he can.
On a personal level, Scott has a passion for AFL football, cricket and golf; a sport for which he just became an ambassador for the Australian PGA.
